Who writes fiction heart stories here? Any top tips on how to make a good one?

I do, but I'm mostly into writing dark ones, so I dunno if I can give any tips.

Dittos, but I typically stray toward either incredibly romantic or NSFW types! No real tips other than to be creative with your descriptions -- there's a myriad of ways a heart can sound, from lulling and melodic to frantic, frenzied, or crazed! Usually when I write I keep a thesaurus nearby, just so I don't keep repeating myself over and over again (a nasty habit I often get into).

I might try my hand at it some time!

I write quite a bit of fiction, yes. Though sometimes it feels as if the ratio of heart content to non-heart content of what I write is quite low compared to what people might expect. So if I do write something it's heavy on the story, not so much on the hearts, but it's still there. I guess that's because it's all about the buildup to it, maybe?

There's gotta be a lead-up, and to me, having the story makes it all the more memorable, no? A lasting impact!
